Our server Dana was awesome and very good at what he does The wine and dinner and dessert was exceptional and sitting on the patio was amazing! I felt like I was in Europe and will deffinetly come back when I'm in town. I had the lobster tail and steak and it was to die for and my girlfriend got the pasta because she is a vegetarian and it was also great! All around great experience

Awesome place! Extremely friendly staff! We had biscuits and gravy which was beyond delicious! Waitress said we didn't fit the Parelli type which absolutely made our day! Definitely a return visit will happen.

Nice breakfast spot. Be prepared to wait after 9am. Standard breakfast 2 eggs with bacon hit the spot and the pancake is huge. Staff is friendly with people constantly ready to fill up your coffee. Will try lunch next time.

This little cafe in Pagosa Springs is awesome!! Their breakfast is excellent down home cooking. I got their special that had two eggs, any style, served with bacon, hash browns and one of their to die for pancakes. I loved every bit of this tasty breakfast. The atmosphere is quaint and cute. Service was great!! We didn't have to wait long for our food and they kept our drinks refilled without even asking. Keep in mind that they are only open 6:00 to 2:00 everyday. We will be back soon!

Worst service I have ever had. Yes, it was busy, but they had three people working up front and a whole kitchen staff. The problem with this place is it is very unorganized. Out of the three people working the front only one person was taking orders and passing out food. Two of them were wandering around looking for a job to do. I am completely baffled by the lack of service. Do not come here if it is a Saturday.

You do get sat right away, at a dirty table. We ordered our food which took 40mins to get! 6 tables 7 including ours had no food. Food was subpar at the least. I advise not eating at Cafe Colorado. I have seen truck stops cleaner then this place. The bathrooms don't even have soap. Just really filthy and poor quality service and food!

We surely don't come here for the customer service. It's terrible. The last time we visited, we stood in the door way as their sign instructed waiting to be seated. We were walked by ELEVEN TIMES over about 10 min with a nearly empty facility. We were there about 45 min before close. Since you can see into the kitchen at the doorway and hear all they say, we were welcomed with looking at their clock, sighing and LOUDLY commenting that they have yet ANOTHER guest RIGHT before close. WOW! We obviously left never even being greeted and told they would be with us shortly. classy. There were only 2 of us that time! They also cannot handle a party of 8 (4 adults) without suggesting we just seat small children at a booth alone vs actually putting in work to put a table or two together.....we had to do that ourselves. PS: From our former visit with friends (sorry guys!).....The food is = to hospital/school cafeteria food.......good place to go if you can get there during their silly hours for a restaurant and just need something in your stomach. I'd rather go to **2 chicks and a hippie** for breakfast/lunch! THEY are amazing in both food and customer service!

My family of five were seated quickly in a booth of our choice with a chair at the end. The hostess was very friendly and got our drink order out fast. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and took our order quickly. We placed huge orders that included the four egg omelets with 5 fillings of your choice with hash browns and toast, biscuit, or pancake; biscuits and gravy, bacon, hash browns, two eggs over medium; country style eggs Benedict with two biscuits, sausage, and hash browns. The food came out within 15 minutes of ordering and everything was delicious! We will be back.

Sunday breakfast today was good. Service was very slow, finally the waitress told us they were having computer problems and could not get her orders entered. Too bad they didn't have a backup system. But they gave us a 20% discount.

OK breakfast place. The breakfast burrito was odd - the green chili sauce was more like gravy with green chili added. If you want a real breakfast burrito, wait till you get to New Mexico.

Awesome, friendly staff at this local cafe well-known for serving a straight-up breakfast and lunch menu. Casual atmosphere and efficient staff. Breakfast quesadillas are ginormous.

Great breakfast joint! Really love the breakfast bowls with some green chile. I have been coming to pagosa for 6 years for hunting and vacation and this is the best breakfast place I have found. It can get a little crowded but the food is always good and the service is very friendly. The tables are adequate and everything appears to be clean. The interior is a little dated but not obnoxious.

I agree with previous posts. Breakfast here rocks...super friendly staff, willing to alter menu items and the price is good! Excellent omelette, the potatoes crispy and coffee hot...sometimes just knowing how to prepare the basics well is all it takes! Glad I found you guys.

The breakfast here was ok, but not spectacular. Service started a little slow, but as I sat there for ten minutes with no offer of coffee, I reminded them I ordered one, and the two ladies started to be a little more attentive after I made my presence known. I ordered a sopapilla, but got a burrito instead. I went with it, life could be much worse. I lived for 6 yrs in Tucson, so my taste for Mexican food is above average (however, purists will insist that breakfast burritos aren't traditional.) One thing I really look for in any type of Mexican-ish food is the tortilla. Unfortunately, most places I've eaten at in Colorado use those chewy, 30 ingredient mass produced patties, and sadly Cafe Colorado does as well. A real flour tortilla only has five ingredients, flour, water, baking powder, salt and fat. With my tortilla rant over, the chile was ok, I like Durango Diners much better though. The hash browns were crispy, but I suspect they were frozen at one point in time. Coffee, well, it was black at least and not transparent as some places I've been. Overall, with only one experience, I can't fully expound on how good or bad this place is, but for one breakfast, I will tell you I've had much worse (and much better too).

We come here every year for breakfast. Great food and friendly staff. I recommend the green chili breakfast burrito. Great chili sauce!

Not so good. Didn't have that home style zest we were hoping for. We tried lunch there too and was disappointed. With the exception of the refried beans my wife had with her burrito, it was all bland. Service was ok but understaffed. Thought the cashier was wrong counting her tip money at the counter. Very tacky if you ask me. The back emergency door slams so hard!!! it was like a bomb going off. They should get that fixed before some old coot drops a duce. I won't be back for awhile until I hear better things.

I had breakfast here with my girlfriend on 05/07/14 and our wait staff was Tina. She was very attentive and just had the best personality. Very sweet. We had omelets and they were cooked just right. I said to my GF that this was possibly the best breakfast I had had in two weeks! Dee-lish.

This place did not impress. Dirty floors and frozen food. Green Chili everyone said was good was so peppery, I could barely eat it. I wouldn't go back.

It's a little cafe in a strip mall just as you come into Pagosa from Fairfield. I ordered what the hostess recommended; the enchiladas with eggs smothered in green chili, served with hashbrowns and pinto beans. Muey excellante!!! Her recommendation was perfect! My husband had the meat omelette - liked it a lot too. Good place for breakfast.

We had breakfast here on our last full day on vacay in Pagosa. It was great! Service was good and the food was classic breakfast that was done well. We wish we would have gone here earlier in our trip and had a chance to go for lunch.

This place is always busy and with good reason! The food and the service are both fantastic! It isn't a large place, but highly recommended. Definitely check out their green chili dishes!

Cafe Colorado (or sometimes called Tina's by locals) probably has the best american breakfast in town. the biscuits and gravy are outstanding as is the bacon and my folks love the french toast. Tina's also serves lunch. if you're looking for food on the healthier side, you'd probably be better off going to Victoria's. the seating area has maybe 10 x 4-tops and they can fill up quick... and you can't make reservations.

When we were in town craving a Cobb Salad, we went to this restaurant. It was fresh and good. The only things that bothered us about it was how it was served in a small bowl - like a cereal bowl. As soon as the fork went in, it spilled over the sides onto the table. And the salad dressing was served in packets rather than in a dish. We had to ask for more dressing packets. Crackers also came in sealed packets. We both ordered the same thing and it took a long time to make these 2 salads.

We really like this cafe, very friendly staff, everyone tries hard to give great service. We enjoy eating breakfast and usually get the Huevos Rancheros topped with green chile.. Saturday and Sunday crowded but great food anytime you eat there.
